After searching the four corners of the Web, I came upon Archive.org a free place to store all sorts of media files. YES, they let you stream your audio on your WordPress.com Blog.

Also, by copying the URL from Archive.org, it is simple to add a hyperlink to your audio from email, newsletters and virtually any Web page. You can even prepare audio files for use in location specific media projects, for example: streaming audio to handheld phones.
